What the source record says
AWS's Licking-side New Albany expansion: a $3.5B, five-building, ~1.25M sq ft campus (announced Sept 2023, targeted through 2030) on the Amazon Data Services Beech Rd NW / Miller Rd NW parcel cluster (~458 ac). Two buildings were completed and staffed as of Aug 2025; the remainder are under construction. Adjacent to (but distinct from) AWS's pre-existing 2570 Beech Rd "Ridge Two" campus (operational since ~2017, a separate parcel not in this record). No site-specific IT-load MW is disclosed (a widely-repeated 500 MW figure is an AWS us-east-2 regional aggregate, not this campus). Amazon's 2023 Ohio Job Creation Tax Credit is a multi-site umbrella (17 facilities across Franklin/Licking/Union counties), not specific to this parcel. Distinct from tracked aws-cosgray-hilliard-oh and aws-scioto-darby-hilliard-oh (Hilliard, Franklin County, west of Columbus). Status refresh 2026-08-08: the completion target has PASSED without confirmation. As of the city's 2025-08-07 update, two campus buildings were finished and staffed (tracked separately as the 2550 and 3180 Beech Road records) with the remainder "expected to be operational by the end of the year" — i.e. end-2025. No fetched source confirms that happened, so this record stays under_construction rather than being promoted on an expectation. Worth re-checking with a Licking County occupancy or AWS regional announcement.
Any MW value is reproduced as source-reported context. Its measurement boundary is not established consistently enough for comparison. Unknown is not zero.
