What the source record says
Loudoun County application LEGI-2023-0097. Continued conversion of the former Verizon Federal Operations campus — now branded Quantum Park — between Loudoun County Parkway and Waxpool Road in Ashburn to data center use. The amendment would permit additional data center, substation and office uses; reporting describes two new data center buildings and a substation on roughly 40 acres within the office campus. The applicant lowered building heights and changed architects before the commission vote. Commissioner Dale Polen opposed.
