What the source record says
Carrier-hotel / interconnection facility inside the downtown Financial Center building at 666 Walnut Street; Cologix acquired it (and DSM2, see separate record) from Connect Des Moines in June 2024 — Cologix owns/operates the space, this is not a colo tenancy. Small (4,000 sq ft) and telecom/peering-focused (25+ networks, DesMoinesIX exchange) rather than AI-compute-oriented — flagging for the human moderator to judge fit against the dataset's AI/crypto/power focus. Has a confirmed additional 10,000 sq ft / 1.0 MW expansion shell not yet built out, so I left capacityMw.operational at the currently-live 0.6MW rather than guess a combined 'planned' total.
