The application states intent to bring in an unnamed partner company to develop and operate the facility; it cites existing FPL transmission lines crossing the site and an existing man-made lake floated as a potential closed-loop cooling source. Scheduled before the St. Lucie Planning and Zoning Board on September 17, 2026 as of the article date. The parcel was previously entitled for the since-abandoned Koa Bay Surf Park. No capacity, investment, or job figures were stated in the source. Coordinates corrected 2026-09-10: an earlier draft shared a pin with sentinel-grove-technology-park-fort-pierce-fl that sat about 10 km from this parcel.
