State-funded research computing facility in Cummings Research Park, operated by the Alabama Supercomputer Authority (a state corporation founded in 1989) alongside the Alabama Research and Education Network. The building spans nearly 24,000 square feet and houses the authority's Security Operations Center, Network Operations Center, Data Recovery Center, data center and operations offices. ASA's business office is at 445 Dexter Avenue, Montgomery - the same street address as the separately tracked RSA Dexter Avenue Datacenter, which is a different facility. Power and cooling capacity are not published. Single-source record: the operator's own facility page. Coordinate is the OpenStreetMap feature at the stated address.
