Company claim
Said by Fairfield Energy (company) in Fairfield Energy utility-facility page.
Checked 11 September 2026
Fairfield Energy says it submitted an OPSB application for up to 1,350 MW of net gas generation and approximately 1,040 MW of battery storage.
What the evidence supports
Fairfield Energy's page says it submitted OPSB Case 26-0160-EL-BGN for up to 1,350 MW net gas generation plus approximately 1,040 MW of battery storage, and that construction cannot begin until required approvals and permits are obtained. Those are separate generation/storage figures and cannot be summed with Vantage OH2's 696 MW planned critical-IT capacity. The developer page establishes an application, not a certificate or construction authorization; no post-hearing OPSB order was located.
Still unknown
Staff report, hearing outcome and any OPSB certificate or construction authorization.
