What the source record says
Formerly T5 Data Centers (T5@LA), built 2011 (~$30M construction cost); sold to Serverfarm + NantWorks for $71M in April 2021 and rebranded LAX1. Capacity corrected: Serverfarm's own current site discloses 17.3MW IT capacity / 26MVA utility capacity (not the 22MW figure some discovery leads cite, which conflates the 2021 acquisition press release's '22 MVA' apparent-power figure with real MW); datacenterHawk independently corroborates ~18.3MW commissioned. aiClassification set to 'likely' on the strength of facility-specific 'AI-ready... liquid cooling... 200 W/sq ft' language on Serverfarm's current site, though no named AI/HPC tenant was confirmed. Distinct from an unrelated, separate 2026 community-opposition story at 750 North Nash Street (a different, proposed, since-withdrawn project) - no opposition attaches to this facility.
Any MW value is reproduced as source-reported context. Its measurement boundary is not established consistently enough for comparison. Unknown is not zero.
