What the source record says
⚠️ LOW-CERTAINTY BY CONSTRUCTION - included because a 1,000 MW load is the largest proposed in New York found in this run, and excluded fields say why. confidence is 'rumored' and status 'proposed' rather than 'cancelled': the town supervisor confirmed on May 11, 2025 that "no site plan, special permit application, zoning request, or other development application has been submitted to the town for review," and the developer "has never submitted a formal application for the project nor a site plan" - yet the project was still described as under evaluation in the NYISO process when the town passed its moratorium on June 25, 2026, so it is not affirmatively dead either. Teaneck, NJ-based Treetop Development is evaluating converting land currently planned for "a 1,161,515 SF warehouse" (scaled down to 765,000 square feet in other reporting) into "a 1,000-megawatt (1-gigawatt) data center." capacityMw.planned = 1000 is that stated figure, unconverted. Confirmed absences (2026-09-09): NEITHER fetched source gives a street, parcel, acreage, square footage for the data center itself, investment, job count, water figure, utility, or subsidy agreement; secondary reporting places the site "off of I-84 and Lime Kiln Road" but that was NOT verified in a fetched source, so no street is recorded and coordinates are a TOWN-LEVEL placeholder for East Fishkill, Dutchess County. If the maintainer's bar is a filed application, this record should be dropped.
Any MW value is reproduced as source-reported context. Its measurement boundary is not established consistently enough for comparison. Unknown is not zero.
