Google confirmed on 2026-08-03 that it is exploring a future data center in the Salix area; Google said it will not pursue local real estate property tax abatements or rebates. MidAmerican stressed 'This is not a project announcement, development agreement or request for approval.' No investment, capacity or building count has been published.
