What the source record says
PathOne described a 10-25 MW facility of about 40,000 sq ft on 5-25 acres costing $100-150 million; because those are ranges rather than single figures, capacityMw, landAcres and investmentUsd are deliberately left unset. This record is placed at the Galva option (the shuttered Quad County ethanol plant, which PathOne named specifically); the alternative site near Arthur is about 20 km south and no selection has been made. Distinct from the tracked PathOne Sioux County (Hull) site.
Any MW value is reproduced as source-reported context. Its measurement boundary is not established consistently enough for comparison. Unknown is not zero.
Status history supplied by the source
- 2026-08-11 · reported proposed
PathOne presented early plans for a small-scale data center to the Ida County Board of Supervisors, naming two industrial-zoned candidate sites — the shuttered Quad County ethanol plant near Galva and a site near Arthur. No site has been selected and no application has been filed.
