What the source record says
An HPC/AI data center campus in pre-construction design at the Panther Creek waste-coal power plant site in Nesquehoning, Carbon County, with T5 Data Centers providing pre-construction design, development-approval and construction guidance. This is a separate data_center record from the already-tracked Panther Creek plant / crypto-mining operation at the same site, following the same convention as the split Homer City generation and campus records. Trade reports of a 350 MW firm power contract by 2028 (scalable toward 500 MW+) and of a special exception permit from the Nesquehoning Planning Commission were not confirmed in the sources cited here, so capacityMw and a 'permitted' status are omitted.
Any MW value is reproduced as source-reported context. Its measurement boundary is not established consistently enough for comparison. Unknown is not zero.
