What the source record says
Campus was envisioned as three or four data center buildings on 200 acres near Kings Dominion, per the latest site plan submitted to the county. An LLC tied to LS Power is listed as contract purchaser of the two-parcel assemblage; it is unclear whether the land sale remains pending. LS Power previously owned the Doswell Energy Center gas plant on the other side of Old Ridge Road and sold it to NRG Energy in 2026.

New York-based LS Power withdrew its zoning request for the Old Ridge Road site in a letter from the developer's attorney to Hanover County; no replacement zoning application had been filed as of late June 2026.
