What the source record says
Founders Mark McDougal and David Gray converting family 4,000-acre alfalfa farm near Holden. Described by founders as largest private project in Utah history. Partnership with Caterpillar for generator sets; MOU with EnergySolutions for nuclear feasibility study. Part of Governor Cox's Operation Gigawatt initiative. Site at 4,800+ ft elevation for cooling efficiency. Coordinates approximate for Holden, Millard County. Subsidies checked at the municipal tier (2026-09-04): no site-level subsidy. Millard County commissioners are quoted on the record stating the county "did not give either development any special treatment or incentives", and no Millard County CRA/RDA public body is registered on the Utah Public Notice Website. Utah's EDTIF programme excludes data centres and the UCA 59-12-104 sales-tax exemption is self-executing, so no site-level award document exists to find.
Any MW value is reproduced as source-reported context. Its measurement boundary is not established consistently enough for comparison. Unknown is not zero.
