What the source record says
A 27,000 sq ft data center was written into the redevelopment plan for 100 Jersey Avenue inside the 22-acre Jersey-Sandford redevelopment area. The City Council voted unanimously on 18 February 2026 to amend the plan, remove data centers as a permitted use and restore a required public park on roughly four acres; the remaining plan covers about 600 apartments and small-bay commercial space. No data center operator was ever named. Jersey Ave NB Urban Renewal LLC was designated redeveloper in 2020 and Amzak Capital Management took control of the parcels through a deed in lieu of foreclosure in September 2025, but reporting states it is not clear who is leading the redevelopment — hence the 'Undisclosed' operator. The city also said it was uncertain whether PSE&G needed a data center at the site.
Any MW value is reproduced as source-reported context. Its measurement boundary is not established consistently enough for comparison. Unknown is not zero.
