Never permitted or built. New Mexico Tech declined to proceed on June 2, 2026 and the county imposed a moratorium a week later; the developer subsequently pursued a separate proposal at Spaceport America in Sierra County. Neither Green Data nor CEO Jason Bak has previously completed a data center.
