Operator attribution is unsettled and deliberately conservative: Five 9s Digital advertises the site, CB Tech Partners LLC is described as the purported purchaser with ties to Fezzik Energy, and Data Center Knowledge separately describes a Blackstone-backed redevelopment of an abandoned Aliquippa steel mill. Confidence is 'rumored' for that reason. No investment figure is recorded — the reported $25 billion is an entity/regional figure that has not been tied to this site by any source read here. Parcel is not geocoded in the records consulted; coordinates are city-level. Public-reception check (2026-09-10): Checked a project-tracking dossier (2026-09-10) which explicitly states no public records have been linked to this specific project yet ('We haven't linked public records to this project yet') and lists community-organizing groups for several OTHER Pennsylvania data-center fights (Archbald, East Vincent, Limerick, Hanover, Penn Forest) but none for Aliquippa. Only Gov. Josh Shapiro's general 2025 statement that 'developers must generate their own power or pay for the additional draw on the grid' and that 'Pennsylvanians have real concerns about these data centers' is state-level, not specific to this site.
